In August 2008, we set out from home with a delta trike tandem consisting of a Greenspeed Anura and a Hase Kettwiesel, with a Burley trailer behind for our gear. We rode to the Midwest Recumbent Rally in Stevens Point, Wisconsin, arriving in three days.

Problems with our house required a quick return home, but wind and rain threatened to make the journey long and difficult, so we rented a truck in Stevens Point for the trip back to Minneapolis. Cycling across country takes about a day for each hour of driving -- but you see so much more.
